Structure and Implementation of ATMA

ATMA operates as an autonomous organization at the district level, ensuring efficient planning and implementation of extension activities. The structure includes multiple stakeholders, ensuring a bottom-up approach in decision-making.

Governing Board (GB)

  • Responsible for policy direction and decision-making.
  • Composed of district officials, research institutions, NGOs, and private sector representatives.

2. Management Committee (MC)

  • Implements and monitors ATMA activities at the district level.
  • Led by the Project Director (PD-ATMA).

3. Farmer Advisory Committees (FACs)

  • Represent farmers’ interests and ensure participation in decision-making.
  • Help identify local agricultural issues and recommend solutions.

4. Block Technology Team (BTT)

  • Comprises agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and fisheries extension officers.
  • Implements extension programs at the block level.
