RBI publishes every stage of this recruitment as a PDF of roll numbers on its own website. There is no scorecard portal, no SMS with your marks, and no third-party site that gets it first. Knowing exactly what appears, and when, saves a lot of refreshing.

Where results appear
Go to rbi.org.in and open Opportunities. Each stage is published there as a PDF listing the roll numbers that have qualified. Use your browser’s find function rather than reading down the list.
Individual communication — the psychometric test link, the interview call letter — comes by email, sent from RBI’s recruitment address. That is why the email you register with has to be one you will still be reading four months later.

Two consequences follow from that structure. Your Phase 1 marks vanish after Phase 1 — they play no part in the final merit. And by the time the Phase 2 result appears, four-fifths of your final score is already fixed.

Note the pace. Twelve days from Phase 1 to its result, and only a month from there to Phase 2. Anyone who waited for the Phase 1 result before opening Economic and Social Issues had about four weeks left to prepare three papers. That is the strongest practical argument on this site for starting Phase 2 the evening Phase 1 ends.
What the result does not give you
The result PDFs carry qualified roll numbers. RBI publishes the cut offs for the cycle, so you can see the line, but you should not expect a section-by-section breakdown of your own performance in the way a bank result page gives one.
For anyone who misses, that means no diagnosis is handed to you. The way to find the gap is to sit the previous year papers again, under time, and compare your three Phase 2 papers against the published cut offs. In most cases the gap is in one paper, not spread across three — and most often it is the descriptive one.
After the select list
- Document verification — originals of everything claimed in the application: degree and marksheets, category certificate, age proof, and any experience counted for relaxation.
- Medical examination as prescribed.
- Offer and joining, followed by probation and RBI’s induction training.
- Waiting list candidates are called if selected candidates decline or do not join. With 60 posts this list is short, but it is real.
If you missed this cycle
General and EWS candidates get six attempts at Phase 1, OBC (NCL) nine, and SC and ST candidates are not capped — so a miss is rarely final. The useful question is which paper cost you.
The arithmetic on the cut off page makes the point: the Phase 2 line moves by about five marks between cycles, while the descriptive English paper can move by twenty for anyone willing to write one timed piece a week. Most near misses are fixed there, not by another pass through Finance and Management.
And keep the daily habit running between cycles — General Awareness is 80 of the 200 marks in Phase 1, and it is the one section that cannot be rebuilt in a hurry. Daily current affairs and the daily quiz are free.
