What is the Beat the Heat Programme?
- A global climate initiative focused on tackling extreme heat through sustainable cooling and urban resilience measures.
- It operationalises the Global Cooling Pledge by translating it into practical city-level action.
- Launched under the COP30 Presidency (Brazil) and supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) through the Cool Coalition.
Objectives

- Promote energy-efficient and low-carbon cooling technologies.
2. Climate Adaptation
