NABARD and NaBFID signed an initial agreement to strengthen cooperation in financing rural infrastructure projects.
Areas of cooperation include water infrastructure, sanitation, irrigation and post-harvest storage facilities.
The partnership will support joint financing and knowledge sharing for projects having significant rural impact.
NaBFID is a specialised development finance institution established to support long-term infrastructure financing.
