- Reforming global financial architecture — quota and governance reform in the IMF, World Bank and WTO
- Alternative development finance — through the NDB and CRA, without Western conditionalities
- De-dollarisation — intra-bloc settlement in local currencies and interoperable cross-border payment platforms
- Security and counter-terrorism — under the BRICS Counter-Terrorism Action Plan and FATF standards
- South-South cooperation — agriculture, food security, satellite data sharing, traditional medicine, climate adaptation and SME digital ecosystems
