Context
What does the IEMI measure?
The India Electric Mobility Index evaluates EV progress through three broad areas:
- Transport Electrification Progress – extent of electric vehicle adoption and electrification of transport.
- Charging Infrastructure Readiness – availability of charging infrastructure and supporting measures.
- EV Research and Innovation Readiness – development of research, innovation and the EV startup ecosystem.
