WhatsApp Introduces Bill Payments Through Bharat Connect

WhatsApp launched a native Bill Payments facility in India through the Bharat Connect network.
Users can pay electricity, gas, water, FASTag, insurance, credit-card and loan bills.
The service provides access to 22,722 billers across 30 categories.
Payments can be made using UPI, debit cards and credit cards, improving the convenience of digital bill payments.
