Context: India and Rwanda held the First Session of the India–Rwanda Joint Trade Committee (JTC) in New Delh, establishing a permanent, structured and periodic apex mechanism to expand bilateral commerce, address trade barriers and foster B2B partnerships.
About Rwanda
The Republic of Rwanda is a small, highly densely populated landlocked nation in east-central Africa, known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills” for its rolling green highlands, and globally recognised for rapid socio-economic reconstruction, digital transformation and ease of doing business following the 1994 genocide.
