Overseas Indians, also known as the Indian diaspora, are people of Indian origin or citizenship who live outside of India. Overseas Indian includes:
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs):
- Citizens of India who are currently living outside of the country
- People of Indian Origin (PIOs):
- People of Indian by birth or by ancestry who are citizens of other countries.
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs):
- People who has been granted a permanent visa to visit India with a foreign passport.
