Status: SEBI has not released the Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) 2026 advertisement yet. The most recent one was published on 30 October 2025 for 110 posts, and that cycle finished with the final result on 23 June 2026. Going by SEBI’s own pattern, the next advertisement is expected around October or November 2026 — but that is an expectation drawn from past cycles, not an announcement.

Is the SEBI Grade A 2026 notification out?
No. As on 24 September 2026, nothing has appeared on the SEBI careers page for the 2026 cycle. There is no application link, no vacancy number and no exam date.
Anything you see online claiming a “SEBI Grade A 2026 notification PDF” right now is either the October 2025 advertisement with the year changed, or a guess. The only place the real one appears first is sebi.gov.in → Careers. When it does, this page will say so, and the date above will move.

These are the official dates from the 2025 advertisement. They matter because SEBI has been fairly consistent about the gap between each stage, so they are the best available map of what the 2026 cycle will feel like.
| Advertisement published | 30 October 2025 |
| Online application window | 30 October 2025 to 28 November 2025 |
| Phase 1 | 10 January 2026 |
| Phase 2 | 21 February 2026 |
| Phase 3 (interview) | Intimated separately |
| Final result | 23 June 2026 |
| Joining | 24 July 2026 |
Read the shape of it rather than the dates: about ten weeks from advertisement to Phase 1, six weeks from Phase 1 to Phase 2, and roughly eight months end to end. If the 2026 advertisement lands in late October, Phase 1 falls in early January 2027.

SEBI recruits stream-wise, and the streams are not interchangeable — you apply to one, and your Paper 2 in both phases is set by that choice.
| Stream | UR | OBC | SC | ST | EWS | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| General | 23 | 14 | 10 | 4 | 5 | 56 |
| Legal | 9 | 3 | 5 | 1 | 2 | 20 |
| Information Technology | 9 | 5 | 4 | 2 | 2 | 22 |

| Engineering (Electrical) | 1 | – | – | 1 | – | 2 |
| Engineering (Civil) | 2 | 1 | – | – | – | 3 |
Eleven of the 110 posts were reserved for PwBD candidates, spread across all seven streams. For scale: the 2024 cycle had 97 posts, so SEBI’s intake has been rising slowly rather than swinging.
Application fee
- General, OBC and EWS: ₹1,000 as application fee cum intimation charges, plus 18% GST.
- SC, ST and PwBD: ₹100 as intimation charges, plus 18% GST.
Paid online during the application. It is not refundable, including if you later decide not to sit the exam.
How to apply when it opens
- Go to sebi.gov.in and open the Careers section. Do not apply through a link someone forwarded you.
- Read the advertisement PDF end to end before you register — particularly the stream you are choosing, because it cannot be changed later.
- Register with a working email and mobile number. Every intimation, including the call letter, goes there.
- Fill the form, then upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration in the sizes the advertisement specifies. This is where most applications get stuck; keep all four ready before you start.
- Pay the fee and download the completed application. Save the PDF and the payment receipt.
- Admit cards appear roughly a week to ten days before each phase, in the same portal.
What to do in the meantime
The gap before an advertisement is the only quiet time you get. Once it lands you will have about ten weeks, and ten weeks is not enough to build the Phase 2 subjects from zero.
- Start with the syllabus and exam pattern — specifically the fact that Phase 1 is only qualifying, and Phase 2 decides your rank.
- Check you actually clear the eligibility bar, especially the age cut-off date, before you invest months.
- Look at the cut off history to see the mark you are actually chasing.
- Build the daily habit now: daily current affairs written for regulator exams, and the daily quiz. SEBI’s General Awareness leans heavily on financial markets and regulator news, which is exactly what a last-minute revision cannot manufacture.
- Work through the previous year papers, including the Phase 2 descriptive English questions.
If you are also preparing for RBI Grade B or NABARD Grade A, the overlap on economics, finance and current affairs is large enough that running them together costs far less than twice the work — the divergence is mainly in SEBI’s Companies Act and securities-market depth.
