- NABARD and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) signed an MoU to integrate IMD’s agro-meteorological data with DiCRA (Data in Climate Resilient Agriculture).
- DiCRA is an open-source digital platform supported by NABARD and UNDP.
- The platform will provide useful weather and climate information to farmers, financial institutions, policymakers and researchers.
- Better climate information can support decisions related to crop planning, agricultural risk management and rural finance.
